Cara Menghitung Berat Baja



In the steel business in the field we have to know the density of iron as it is very important to be able to calculate the weight of the material we sell and also can estimate the material that we will need.
By knowing the specific gravity of iron we can know the weight of material per piece or a total weight of how many pieces of material. And also to determine the price perberat or per piece.
Here I'll show you how to calculate weight of iron to iron a different dimension, as follows:


1    . Steel Plate/Sheet

 Rumus : 
 Thickness( mm ) X Width( mm ) X Length (mm ) X Density = Weight ( KG )
 Density                                 : 7,85 ( Gr/dcm3 )
                                             : 7,85  ( g/(100)^3 mm                   
 Example 
 Plates have a size                 : thickness: 3,0 mm, Width : 1219 mm, Length : 2438 mm,
                                             How    Much weight?  
 Weight Plates                       : 3,0 mm x 1219 mm x 2438 mm x 7,85/1000.000 =  69,988 Kg




2.       . Steel Round Bar/Solid

 Rumus :
 Weight Round Bar ( Kg )     : 3,14 x Radius x Radius x Length  x 7,85/1000.000

Examples:
Round Bar Diameter             :  100 mm,  Length : 6000 mm, How Much Weight?
Weight   Round Bar              : 3,14 x 50 x 50 x 6000 x 7,85/1000.000
                                            : 370 Kg

Alternative                           : Diameter x Diameter x 0,006165 x length
                                           : 100 x100 x 0,006165 x 6000
                                           : 370 Kg



3.       .Steel Pipe

 Rumus:
 Weight Pipe ( Kg )              : Diameter-Thickness x Thicknessx 0,02466 x Length

Example :
Pipe Out side Diameter        : 100 mm, Thickness : 1,2 mm, Length : 6000 mm , How Much weight ?

Weight Pipe Per Pieces        : 100 mm -1,2 mm- 1,2 mm x 0,02466 x 6000/1000
( Kg )                                  : 14,4 Kg
